Paul grew up in Newton and is a 1979 graduate of St. Anselm’s College. He started his insurance career at Fireman’s Fund in 1979, where he began as a Claims adjuster and later became a Commercial Lines underwriter. In 1984, he shifted gears and went to work at Coleman & Son’s,. In 1991, with his cousin Bob, purchased the insurance division of Coleman and renamed it Stanton Insurance.

Following 10 years acting as Vice President, Paul became President of the Agency in 2010. In addition to being a Licensed Broker, Paul is also a Certified Insurance Counselor and a Licensed Insurance Adviser. Paul has been married to his wife Ellen for 29 years and they have two sons, Gordie and Stephen.
